The former commissioner for Women Affairs in Ondo State and a senatorial aspirant for Ondo Central senatorial district, Hon. (Princess) Omowunmi Olatunji has assured members of her constituency at Alade in Idanre local government area of the state of more dividends of democracy if elected to represent their interest at the Senate.

Hon. Olatunji who was at Alade Idanre to consult with local government leadership and ward-level executives of All Progressive Congress (APC) said she has the necessary experience to do the job and will ensure that the interest of the party and the welfare of party members is prioritized.

According to her, women have for too long been relegated and this is another opportunity to change the narratives by electing one woman to protect the interest of her people saying women are builders and they understand how to manage affairs if given the opportunity.

” I have been defeated in the past though but I am determined because I want to work for my people and make their life better”, she further stressed saying she is not an emergency politician that just dabbled into politics but rather a seasoned hand that has held various positions in the past.
