2nd Anniversary: Christ Like Assembly Celebrates Life & Times Of Late Bishop Ketiku

Members of Christ Like Assembly, Akure on Saturday 17th April, 2021 held a special programme to celebrate the life and times of the founder of the Ministry, late Bishop Omotayo Joshua Ketiku who passed on to glory on 17th April 2019.

Speaking on the legacies of the late Bishop, the State Chairman, Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria( PFN), Bishop Joshua Opayinka described late Bishop Ketiku as a man of the spirit who worked tirelessly in God’s vineyard to preach the Gospel of Christ.

Reading from Josh. 1:1-9, Bishop Opayinka urged members of the ministry to remain dedicated to their individual leadership assignments saying God’s work must continue to thrive.

While urging them to cry for more of God and daily concentrate themselves to God, Bishop Opayinka said the late Bishop left an indelible mark in the sands of time.

In her charge to members, Pastor Mrs. Odunayo Christianah Omotayo Joshua urged them to keep the flag flying saying the late Bishop came, saw and conquered and that it is now the duty of all members to also fight the good fight of faith.

“It has been God in the last two years and I must say that I miss my husband’s laughter, jokes- everything. “He is watching us as we individually fight the good fight of faith”, she added just as she thanked the leaders of the church for their cooperation and support over the last two years.

Pastor Olowofusi while thanking God for increase and more of divine presence since the passing of the Bishop said Papa Ketiku is greatly missed for his selfless service, cheerfulness, giving and sacrifice for the good of others.

In a chat with Topshotnews, Evang. Stella Ajibola who could not hold back tears appreciated God for the life of late Bishop Ketiku whom she said started out her annual Praise Festival.

In separate interviews, Pastor Babalola Taiwo, a foundation member, Pastor Olaoye Williams and Pastor Enobong Akpambang said Papa Ketiku is greatly missed for his fatherly role and teachings as he was a man after God’s own heart.

Also in attendance at the programme were Rev. Akinomoge, Rev. Victor, Evang. Olufowobi among other ministers of the Gospel.

The climax of the event however was the laying of wreath by the graveside of the late Bishop by his wife, Pastor Odunayo in the company of Bishop Opayinka.

Earlier, Pastor Ayomide Caleb Joshua in his remarks said his late father is greatly missed by both his biological and spiritual children and that has remained a wound which time has failed to heal.
