Agbarijo Igbimo Ajodun Iyun Honours Evang. Gboyega Sanya, Mrs. Folake Sanya, Others…

Agbarijo Igbimo Ajodun Iyun Lagbaaye, Iyun International Organization on April 23rd, 2021 honoured 2 lecturers of the Federal College of Education, Osiele, Abeokuta as Ambassadors in recognition of their outstanding performances and their excellent service to humanity most especially in the lives of the students of the college.

Ambassador (Evang.) Ayomide Gboyega Sanya, a chief lecturer from Department of Yoruba, under School of Language was honoured with Ambassador of Integrity and Cultural Exposition for his great leadership roles and Ambassador (Mrs.) Adebola Folake SANYA, of Early Childhood Care Education Department, both at the Federal College of Education, Osiele-Abeokuta was also honoured for her outstanding performance and as “Yeye Alaafia Lagbaaye” The Ambassador of Peace.

Also honoured was Ambassador Elder Moses Akinwumi Olowu, a former National President Akomolede ati Asa Yoruba, Nigera who was honoured as Ambassador of Culture and Integrity, for his love and his endless works towards the promotion of Yoruba culture.

In his remarks, the National President of Agbarijo Igbimo Ajodun Iyun Lagbaaye, Prophet Solomon Runsewe, said the award was well deserved as the trio were long overdued for the honour as they have been under watch for more than ten years and have left no one in doubt of their passion for the promotion of Yoruba culture and people.

Prophet Runsewe who said the award is a good example for all other people in society to be mindful of what they do just as he advised them to emulate the good gesture.

The Provost of the College, Dr. Rafiu Soyole, while paying a courtesy visit to hi office he lauded the Organization for remembering the college and honouring their staff by giving them the higher recognitions. He added that the National President of the Organization was a student of the college and that he really appreciates the good step he took to remember his source. He however pledged the college full support for the organization.

In their separate remarks,Dr Aderemi Fajenyo, HoD of the department, Dr Mrs Adu, Pastor Irokotola among others commended the organization saying the award is well deserved just as they appreciated the organization.

Also paying a courtesy visit to the office of the Acting Provost of the College of Education, Osiele Abeokuta, Dr Rafiu Soyele. Dr Mrs Adu, the HOD of Yoruba department and all other lecturers, also grace the occasion.

In a similar event, the organization also honoured the Zonal Head of the Corporate Affairs Commission Ondo State Office, Barrister Mrs. Titilayo Bosede Oguntuase, as an Ambassador of Traditional Outfit and one of her junior staffs, Mr. Michael Olowookere as an outstanding worker of the year.

The zonal head was honoured honoured for her outstanding performance and her good services with humility rendered to people in Ondo State at Agbarijo Igbimo Ajodun Iyun headquarters in Akure.
