Engr. Adetula Becomes New State Chairman, Nigerian Institution Of Civil Engineers
Engineer Ayodeji Adetula was yesterday April 29th inaugurated as the State Chairman of Ondo State chapter of the Nigerian Institution Of Civil Engineers.
At the elaborate event held within the premises of the Ondo State Ministry of Works with other new state executives, the new chairman, Engineer Adetula, a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration, promised to take the Society of Engineers to a greater height.
Engr. Adetula who said he would prioritize the welfare of the members said times are changing and there is the renew need to adapt to new technologies and standard practice as attainable on the global scene.
While thanking all members for their support, Engr. Adetula called for more support towards achieving his dream of taking the Society of Engineers to a greater height saying not much can be achieved without a collective strive for excellence.
Also in attendance at the event was the National Chairman of the Society who was ably represented by Engr Oyediran Asimiyu Amobi, FNICE and a Guest Speaker, Engr. Prof. L M Olanitori MNSE, MNICE, who spoke extensively on use of concrete as a binding element saying lapses in standard practice has been a major cause of collapse of building in recent times.
Other major highlights of the event include the official inauguration of the Engr. Adetula led state executives.
Also in attendance at the event include Engr. Omoya, the patron of the Society of Engineers, Prof Engr. Oguntuase among others.
