The Ondo State chapter of the National Council of Women Societies, NCWS today honoured the CEO, Restoration Of The Dignity Of Womanhood, ROTDOW with Ambassador of Good Deed award in recognition of her contributions to the development of the society.
At the elaborate ceremony held at NCWS House, Akure, where other prominent women across the state were also honoured, Mrs. Omolona while appreciating the umbrella women body for the honour said as a long term member, NCWS under the leadership of Pastor Jumoke Aborode has recorded tremendous achievements that is worth cerebrating.
Mrs. Omolona while also stressing that the award will spur her to do more, said she was most especially happy the recognition was coming directly from her constituency.
“Today, I am very happy and I would like to appreciate the leadership for this honour. NCWS in Ondo State is doing very well and have contributed a lot to the lives of women in the state”, she added.
The event which also featured the inauguration of Ese-Odo Executives had women from various walks of life in attendance.
Earlier in her remarks, Mrs. Aborode said those who were honoured with the award were carefully selected in recognition of their numerous services to humanity.
