Salvation Gospel Int’l Centre @ 2: Celebrating Two Years Of God’s Undeniable Blessings, Faithfulness, Divine Ministrations…

Activities marking the second year anniversary of Salvation Gospel International Centre ( SGIC), a.k.a House of Praise climaxed on Sunday, 29th November, 2020 at a grand Thanksgiving Service held at the church’s new auditorium, No. 5, Akinleye Martins Street, off Airways, Akure.

The Senior Pastor of the ministry, Pastor Foluso Ajibobola Foluso while welcoming guests and other Ministers of God who graced the occasion said it has been two years of undeniable blessings, God’s remarkable faithfulness and divine ministration.

Pastor Ajibobola while recalling his journey into ministry said it can only God as he never had any plans to be a pastor.

“As a young man, all I ever wanted was to be a successful businessman. God called me in 2004 and when I refused to obey the call, He dealt with me through an encounter I had in 2009 and finally in 2011, I obeyed the call. I was ordained in 2011 as a pastor and served under a ministry as Assistant Senior Pastor for many years before this ministry, SGIC was founded on November 25th, 2018”, he added.

Pastor Ajibobola who said the ministry which started with 7 people now has membership strength of not less than 1, 500 with about 10 ordained pastors also noted that the church already has its own Bible College; expanded from use of one auditorium to a second bigger one and as well has acquired 3 buses for evangelical work.

While thanking all those who had in no small measure contributed to the growth of the ministry, Pastor Ajibobola also acknowledged the physical, spiritual, emotional and financial supports from his wife, Mrs. Bukola Ajibobola as well as understanding shown by his children saying without their love, he would not have been able to achieve anything.

The Guest Preacher, Pastor Stephen Olugbenga while speaking on the theme of the event “Pathway To Greatness” said a wasted destiny cannot achieve any greatness.

While drawing inference from 2 Kings 6:26-29, Pastor Olugbenga said the story as recounted in the Bible of 2 women eating up a son was symbolic as a heir, a seed, an entire generation, a destiny among others had been wasted.

Pastor Olugbenga also used the opportunity to urge Christians who wish to become great to adopt principles of Jesus such as service as exemplified in Mark 10- 41-45 and having a vision as recorded in Gen. 13:14 among others.

On what the church needs to do to take over, Pastor Olugbenga said it was high time Christians take the Word of God into all spheres of endeavour other than confining the church to the church.

The grand celebration also featured dance and drama presentations and climaxed with the cutting of the anniversary cake.

Some of the Ministers of God in attendance include Apostle Irewole Raphael, Evang. Peace Agunbiade, Pastor and Pastor Mrs. Stephen Olugbenga, Pastor Owolanke, Prophet Owoagbara among others and as well the Regent of Ifetedo.

Earlier on Friday, 27th November, the 2nd Year Anniversary had kick started with a Mega Praise Night which featured special renditions from Evang. Olubukola Oreoluwa, Evang. Wumi Abosede Afolabi, Evang. Toluwani among others and it was a refreshing time of praise and worship in God’s presence.

The Praise Night also had a Guest Preacher, Pastor Moses Adekunle, the Regional Overseer of Mountain of Fire & Miracles Ministries, Ogun State whose sermon titled: ‘Your Condition Now Is Not Your Conclusion”, explored the place of grace in the life of a man saying every man created by God has his or her own time and season and as such every affliction is a passing phase.
