St. Joavic’s Foundation Distributes 150 Vitamin Angels To Mark 2021 Int’l Women’s Day
No fewer than 150 women on Thursday, 11th March benefited from free distribution of Vitamin Angels, by a Non Governmental Organization, St.Joavic’s Foundation as part of activities marking the 2021 International Women’s Day.
At the event held at ECWA, Akure, the CEO, St. Joavic’s Foundation, Mrs. Folake Esan said the gesture was to help the women meet up with the essential supplements their bodies need as most of people can no longer afford to feed well but with the use of Vitamin Angels, a drug rich in essential supplements, the body gets the needed vitamins in adequate quantity.
Mrs. Esan while speaking on the topic: “Invest On Your Old Age”, charged the women to not only save money towards coping in their old age but to also eat well and eat right.
On some of the foods that benefits the body, Mrs. Esan advised the women to eat more fruits, vegetables, fish, chicken, snails, plantain and as well daily use Vitamin Angels.
Mrs. Esan also used the opportunity to enjoin the women to not only take care of their daughters but also train up their boys to help nip trending violence in the society just as she urged them to take up the challenge of leadership wherever they find themselves in order to reduce the weight of gender imbalance in the society.
The highpoint of the event was the distribution of Vitamin Angels to the over 150 women in attendance.
Most of the beneficiaries of the gesture who were members of the Women Wing of the Christian Association of Nigeria ( WOWICAN) drawn from across the state in their separate remarks thanked the NGO for not only impacting their lives but also improving their health and mental wellbeing.
