The Lekeleke Agenda Is A Serious Business- Prince Malumi

Following reactions that trailed the meeting held with Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu by members of the Unity Forum and other stakeholders most especially governorship aspirants under the All Progressive Congress ( APC) in Ondo State, Prince Dolapo Malumi has again restated that those peddling rumours of endorsement of second term for Governor Akeredolu are those already feeling defeated by the popularity of his boss, Hon D.I. Kekemeke.

In a chat with Topshot, Prince Malumi said Hon. Kekemeke has a divine push backed by genuine repentance and experience to serve Ondo State people towards building a better society.

“Lekeleke Agenda is a serious business. We have had almost 1,000 consultation, sensitization and recruitment meetings in the last one year. As we speak, Lekeleke Movement meetings are going on in wards and local government areas across the state.

For me, Kekemeke have switched from old politics to new politics, from politics of telling lies to politics of telling the truth, from selfish politics to politics centered around the people. He has switched to the politics that sees the pain of a citizen as the pain of all and that of the entire state.

If you ask me -why the noise about Kekemeke? I would simply say, Kekemeke is the only man with the genuine intention for the people: to create a prosperous and peaceful state where citizens will have work to do and live decent lives”, he affirmed saying for a leader like D.I. Kekemeke who have led the party (with the support of others) to victory, he would not allow the party to collapse without coming to the rescue as he believes that it is only a united party that can win election.

It would be recalled that recently, a group of elders of the All Progressives Congress in Ondo State, under the auspices of the APC Unity Forum denied a report that they had endorsed the state governor, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu, to go for second term.

The Unity Forum said some of Akeredolu’s supporters in the party took the meeting for the endorsement of the second term for the governor.
Similarly, the Secretary of the APC Advisory Council and an aspirant of the party, Hon. Kekemeke, has also cleared the air that what transpired in the reconciliatory meeting was the inauguration of the advisory council and an ad hoc committee in a bid to resolve the crisis.

Other leaders at that meeting included Chief Pius Akinyelure, Chief Erastus Akeju, Chief Olusola Oke (SAN), Dr. Segun Abraham, Amb. Sola Iji, H.E. Ali Olanusi to mention a few.
