Viral Video: APC Dissociates Gov. Aiyedatiwa From Cheap Blackmail

The Secretary 1, Strategy & Development Communication Committee for the All Progressive Congress Campaign Council, Hon. Barr. Banji Okunomo (BBO) has described the viral video peddled by the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) agents as patently false, libelous and atrociously malicious saying the personality in the said video is not the Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa.

BBO who admonished the opposition party to sell their own candidate rather than resort to cheap blackmail noted that they cannot score any political gain peddling fake video.

According to him, today being October 12th, 2024 is strategic as the party is officially flagging off its campaign for Governor Aiyedatiwa and as such, the release of the viral video will not change the minds of the electorate who know Mr. Governor well enough to be deceived by such acts.

“The personality in the said video is not our Governor. Governor Aiyedatiwa is not a noisy person. He is a very calm man and would never raise his voice let alone his hands against any woman”, he said just as he urged the people to disregard the said video.

“Our interest as a party is how best we can translate the dividends of democracy to every citizen of the State” he added.
