1st annual lecture: Treasure Newspaper contributions to Nigeria’s journalism unrivalled – Akinlosotu

The leadership of Treasure Newspaper under Emmanuel Adeniran, editor-in-chief, has organized a Public Lecture and awards to distinguished personalities in the society.

The event was the 1st Public lecture organized by the Treasure Newspaper Nigeria Limited.

Themed: “Home grown economy as road map for economic sustainability: Examining the prospects under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu administration,” the event lived up to its billing.

It was a gathering of who is who in Ondo state and Nigeria’s media industry, eminent citizens, and friends of the media who extolled the virtues of Treasure Newspaper.

The lecture was delivered by Olusegun Mayegun, a former student union president of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and a former president of the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) who said the, economy is the mainstream of any society and that, Nigerian government haa to create a nation for us to have a better economy.

Speaking at the lecture, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, who was represented by Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Otunba Wale Akinlosotu, described Treasure Newspaper as a reputable media organisation.

Akinlosotu assured that the administration of Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa will continue to be media friendly, tasking journalists working in the state on upholding accuracy, objectivity and professional ethics in their line of duty.

He said Aiyedatiwa will collaborate with media houses as it is an election year in the state.

Akinlosotu appreciated the publisher of Treasure Newspaper and congratulated all the award recipients.
