Former House of Representative aspirant for Akure South/Akure North Constituency under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Hon. Babatunde Faro has extended hearty congratulations to former Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Hon. Agboola Ajayi as he emerged the party’s flag bearer in the November 2024 General Election.
In a special congratulatory message personally signed and made public, Hon. Faro said the victory is well deserved and a win for the progressive.
Particularly noting that there was no winner or loser at the polls, Hon. Faro said the PDP has indeed put it’s house in order and ready to give leadership that Ondo State people are desirous of.
While applauding delegates for their peaceful conduct, he also appreciated all other contestants who displayed a high sense of sportsmanship and decorum during and after the primary election.
On the readiness of the party to take over power at the Alagbaka Government house, Hon. Faro expressed optimism stressing that leadership starts at the home front and that the PDP has demonstrated it during yesterday’s primary election.
He however called on the electoral body to ensure the November General Election is free and fair for all parties.
