ONDO 2024 : GROUP CANVASSES SUPPORTS FOR AIYEDATIWA AHEAD OF APC PRIMARY ELECTION
As the primary election of the All Progressives Congress APC in Ondo State draws closer, a political group, Grassroots Democracy Defenders has thrown their weights behind the governor of the state, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa to fly the party ticket.
Speaking to newsmen in Akure, the Ondo State capital, on Saturday, a chieftain of the party in the state, Hon Nuel Ola Elehinle emphasized that gov Aiyedatiwa has done tremendously well in all sectors in the state despite the short time he has spent in office.
” Aiyedatiwa has done well in for the people of the state in the area of job creation, workers welfare, infrastructural development just within the limited time spent in office” Elehinle said.
The Chieftain therefore urged the people of the state to rally round the governor on the day of the primary election, 20th April, 2024, to vote for him massively so as to be the party flag bearer
” I charge the good people of the state to rally round Aiyedatiwa on the election day and vote him to victory” Elehinle said.
The group leader further said that all party members should not be deceived by propaganda peddling around about the governor, but consideration should be on a man who has the interest of his people and the state at heart
“Aiyedatiwa has distinguished himself from others through his maturity and dispositions to issues ”
” Do not be deceived by the politicians, reality and selfless service to humanity is the watchword for a man of vision like Aiyedatiwa “he said
